Manish represented memQ at the Lab Embedded Entrepreneurship Program (LEEP) Summit. memQ is one of the 5 startiups incubated in the LEEP program at Argonne National Lab under their Chain Reaction Innovation Platform. 

This was an avenue for us to showcase the progress we have made through support from this program.

Our CEO had an opportunity to meet and share input with the Director of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Stefanie Tompkins, along with several tech leaders in Chicago to discuss local efforts to advance the quantum and post-silicon chip ecosystem. 

The agency will be investing over $700M over the next 5 years for advances that move us “beyond silicon” (quantum is a major focus).

Our paper on deterministic placement Er-atoms (our qubits) on our platform  is out in Applied Physics Letters. Deterministic placement is one of the challenges for any solid state qubit platform and this marks a new milestone in the maturation of our solid state technology.
